# Mosaic Camera Configuration

When acquiring data with a Mosaic camera, the camera's web interface will be forwarded to the IP address of the lidar system at **port 8081**. For instance, if you are connected to the lidar system via ethernet, the lidar's address is **192.168.200.10**, so the camera web interface can be accessed by entering **192.168.200.10:8081** into a web browser:

If you are connected to the lidar system via WIFI, the address of the camera will be **192.168.20.10:8081.**

You should confirm that the camera is receiving GNSS information from the lidar system. The **PPS Timing** box should display a **last sample** of **1.0s ago**, and the **General information** box should display your **position** and **altitude**:

Review the preview images to ensure the images are exposed properly:

**Image Quality** parameters can be modified by the user to improve image exposure:

**Exposure Mode** should be left at **auto**.

Once the camera is configured and is receiving GNSS data, you can activate the camera through the [Sensors window](/spatialexplorer-8-and-9/user-interface/windows/sensor-controller.md) in SpatialExplorer and the camera will begin logging data.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/hardware-and-interfaces/camera/mosaic-camera-configuration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
