# Grid

Any created grids will be located here. Grids can be use when fusing a pointcloud, in which case one cloud per grid cell will be fused, and they will all belong to the same [Cloud Group](/spatialexplorer-8-and-9/user-interface/windows/project/pointclouds.md#cloud-groups).

A grid can be created by using the **Create Grid** button and specifying the **Grid Stride**:
