# IMU

This field displays the IMU orientation in several different conventions. The IMU orientation displayed under **InertialExplorer Rotation** is used within NavLab Embedded. The PLP file will initially contain values that were [set by the rover profile](https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/spatialexplorer-8-and-9/toolbars/rover/rover-settings-and-profiles/navigation-system#imu-orientation) (the values set during acquisition):
