Classify Moving Objects

Moving objects, such as pedestrians or moving vehicles, will not appear in the same position in different intervals, thus the Classify Moving Objects filter can be used to classify such noise.

The moving object filter checks whether points have neighbors from different intervals within a given Search Radius. Alternatively, you can check that the points have neighbors from a different time (Mode->Time Difference) within a given Search Radius.

In the example below, points that do not have a neighbor from at least 1 different interval within a 0.10 m 3D radius will be classified as noise:
