The time synchronization architecture of the Ladybug 5+ has changed between its 2017 and 2023 firmware versions, so make sure you have the latest firmware and software versions installed!

  1. Download and install the latest Ladybug Software to your acquisition laptop. The software is available under "My Software Updates -> Ladybug Software" after logging in to https://accounts.phoenixlidar.com.

  2. Download and extract the latest Ladybug Firmware on the same machine. The firmware is available under "My Software Updates -> Ladybug Firmware" after logging in to https://accounts.phoenixlidar.com.

  3. Power the ladybug camera and connect its USB3 cable to your laptop. Then start "UpdatorGUI3" in your start menu. Select your camera, select the update file from step 2 and click update. Ensure a stable power supply to both camera and laptop during the update
