Adding Reference Station Data

With the mission data uploaded, the next step is to upload reference station data to be utilized for PPK (Post-Processed Kinematic) trajectory post processing. If a reference station is not uploaded, Navlab will default to the less accurate PPP (Precise Point Positioning) trajectory post processing.
In the Reference Station tab, click the red plus button to "Create new reference station artifact".
Multiple reference station files can be uploaded simultaneously if they share the same position, but differ in time. Upload files separately if the various reference station positions are not identical.
Reference stations will be analyzed by LiDARMill as part of the Analyze Reference Station pipeline. This pipeline converts the reference station file into a format used by NavLab, then computes positions for the reference station using services such as OPUS, Trimble CenterPoint RTX, and NovAtel's PPP service. These positions are then automatically imported into NavLab for the user to select from. You can use the reference station in a NavLab pipeline whenever the Analyze Reference Station pipeline has completed at least once:
If LiDARMill is unable to get an OPUS, Trimble CenterPoint, or PPP position for a given reference station file, LiDARMill will schedule the Analyze Reference Station pipeline to run again in the future. A reference station artifact with a status of Scheduled can still be used with NavLab, however you may not be able to use one of the automatically provided positions, and you may have to manually enter the reference station position as a Custom position in NavLab
