# Polygons

KMZ/KML format polygons can be uploaded to the GCP/Polygons tab:

<figure><img src="https://2222094320-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FdEevfLZRIk38LUPwDa4V%2Fuploads%2FjXt1dBpfMtfvkbUcTv5C%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=cc1fd757-bc0b-4b53-b7af-a28f88f6b9df" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The uploaded polygons can then be enabled when starting a [Spatial Fuser pipeline](/lidarmill-cloud/workflow/processing-tools/spatial-fuser-pipeline.md). Polygons that intersect the lidar survey area can be enabled. If enabled, these polygons will be used to clip exported raster and LAS/LAZ products.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Multi-part polygons should not be uploaded. If you have a multi-part polygon file (a polygon KMZ/KML file containing more than one distinct polygons), you should use GIS software to separate the polygons into individual files.&#x20;
